This page sets out every commercial relationship that could reasonably affect how you read it — who pays us, how paid links are marked, and what those arrangements are not allowed to buy.

Some links may be sponsored. Our writers choose what we cover, and no bank, card issuer or landlord pays to shape a story.
That statement applies to everything published at realmilitaryflix.com, in every format, whether or not an individual piece repeats it.

realmilitaryflix currently runs no affiliate links and no sponsored placements. Outbound links on this site are editorial: we link to a source because it is the best evidence for the claim we just made, and we are paid nothing when you follow one.
If that changes, every paid or affiliate link will be marked where it appears, will carry the appropriate link attribute, and this page will be updated before the first one runs.

What money does not buy
No commercial relationship decides whether realmilitaryflix covers a topic, who we assign it to, or what we conclude about it. No sponsor, advertiser, or affiliate partner sees a piece before it publishes, and none of them can have a published piece altered or taken down because they dislike it.
A product we earn a commission on gets the same scrutiny as one we do not, and a critical conclusion about a commercial partner runs exactly as written. Where realmilitaryflix cannot cover something in money and renting in Canada: paying rent, building credit, earning rewards, budgeting as a renter, knowing your rights as a tenant and the benefits small businesses can claim without a conflict we cannot disclose our way out of, we do not cover it.
